- Bare metal respray with new style bonnet
- Smart and practical 110 with long MOT to December
The Appeal
A £8,400 renovation by Lewis Land Rover in 2016 rejuvenated this 1994 Defender. That created a very smart 110 County with updated aesthetics and running gear, notably a reconditioned Turner engine and Ashcroft 4spd ZF auto box. Alongside the neat details like the snorkel, Masai rear glass and sawtooth alloys you’ll find a smart Exmoor cream seven seat interior. A new galvanised chassis was sourced from Marslands.
We are told that what wasn’t renewed was reconditioned. It has covered less than 20,000 miles with the new running gear and remains in very good order. This is the sort of Defender you will want to use rather than merely be seen in. There are a few points to note in the photos and on the long MOT, but nothing that should put off someone who knows these vehicles.
With its extensive cosmetic and mechanical refreshment and that relaxing auto box, this is a family holiday wagon as much as it is a capable workhorse.
