1994 Jaguar XJS 4L Convertible

Highlights

  • Smart Polaris White with tan leather
  • Described as completely rebuilt by seller

  • MOT to February 2026 with no advisories

The Appeal

It is testament to just how good the XJS was, and how few cars equalled it, that it remained a strong seller well into the 1990s. It was particularly popular in the USA, where its blend of long, low lines and classic wood and leather interior contrasted with contemporary home-grown GTs.
This Polaris White convertible spent its life in the dry, sunny climes of Miami before arriving home in late 2023. It has received considerable work since arrival, which the vendor describes as a ‘complete rebuild.’ There are invoices for work to the electrics, trim, servicing, belts and brake fluid totalling several thousand pounds.
The condition is impressive, whether across the bright white paintwork or smart tan leather cabin. Enthusiasts will spot the bespoke NACA ducts and bonnet grilles, but otherwise this is a standard, low mileage XJS. It has the desirable AJ16 straight six 4L motor that has a strong reputation for reliability.
With MOT to January 2026 with no advisories, this smart LHD XJS would be perfect for a long-distance European road trip.
The vendor writes:
It is lovely to drive and pulls well through the gears. An amazing looking car. New contrasting black mohair roof against the white paintwork.”
