The Appeal
This V12 850ci was a joint purchase in 2009 by the Seller and his father. At time of purchase the odometer was reading about 109,000 miles, and it covered a further 2-3,000 miles for the next 7 years. It was used mainly for boy’s trips to the Silverstone Classic, and exhibited regularly at the Goodwood Breakfast Club and other local shows during the summer months, and driven to Scotland and back from the South coast without a murmur.
They decided to SORN the car, and store it in the Seller’s garage in 2016, although it was started and warmed up regularly. Registration was changed to the Sellers name in 2017, and the BMW was put through an MoT in August 2021 at 131,000 miles. Now having covered a further 500 miles since the Seller has decided to regretfully part with the BMW as he feels he isn’t able to use it as much as he would like.

Summary
There is something undeniably cool about any Coupe that is pillarless, and that is further enhanced when it has a V12 engine and a BMW badge! Equally at home in city streets as on the Autobahn, the 8 Series has to be one of the ultimate luxury GT cars of the 20th Century. This one is has small details that would benefit from some attention, but nothing that would stop immediate enjoyment for the lucky high bidder.
