The Appeal
Trust Porsche to give it one last go. The firm’s engineers are obviously fixated on improving and bettering. Case in point: the 968.
The final evolution of the 924 was significantly changed over the 944. It built on that car’s beautifully balanced chassis and quality mechanicals to deliver a coupe that was even better than before and a fitting alternative to the 911.
These cars were great when they left the factory, but that hasn’t stopped an army of specialists making them better. According to RPM Technik, the well regarded marque gurus, this 1993 968 ‘has everything done that you need to do to a 968.’ It left the factory with a manual box and ‘Lux’ trim and now has uprated, lowered suspension and a MO30 brake upgrade.
The car is in very good condition inside and out. There is a huge history file of maintenance and it has been serviced annually irrespective of mileage. The last brake fluid change was 500 miles ago in February 2024.
It is owned by an Institute of Advanced Motorist driver who tells us that he regularly drives it - naturally very well - on a variety of roads. The car’s provenance and specification are impressive and it comes to market with MOT to February 2026.
