The Appeal

The W124 was produced between 1984 and 1997 and by the time this car was built in 1993 the range had been officially christened the “E-Class” for the first time. Despite following Mercedes’s proven formula of a conservative offering built like a bank vault, the W124 was a very advanced car for its time. Innovations included a surprisingly slippery shape and sophisticated multilink suspension.
This E280 presents so well and still looks modern and sophisticated even after 31 years. This is clearly a car that has been diligently cared for across all periods of its history. This has certainly paid dividends with the car fully looking the part and reported to start, run and stop very impressively.
