The Appeal
The Defender has worked its way into the British motoring hall of fame with style. Built to tackle any terrain, this utilitarian 4x4 has become synonymous across much of the world with adventure, with the military, and, of course, with the rural landscape. These enduring off-roaders remain a common sight to this day, and stayed in production for an impressive 26 years.
This specific 1993 model has been meticulously restored and upgraded by its current owner. Any previous corrosion has been repaired with a new rear cross member and is now solid, offering sturdy underpinnings besides a range of practical modifications and a charming working patina that gives it an inimitable character.
