The Appeal
18 years after the first cars left the Browns Lane line, Jaguar’s XJS got a major shot in the arm. A clever facelift, some quality re-engineering led by new owners Ford and a galvanised body readied the car for the 1990s.
It worked. These later cars, with their durable AJ6 4L engines, are highly regarded by enthusiasts. Relatively economical, well built and luxurious, they make great road trip companions or distinctive daily drivers.
Finished in smart grey metallic over a blue leather interior, this facelift car has all those qualities and is in fine shape. A long, advisory-free MOT to April 2025 underlines the sense of a well kept coupe that is ready to drive.
