The Appeal
If you’re going to let anyone guide your car-buying decisions, be guided by Ayrton Senna. The three-time World Champion never owned a Ferrari, but he did own three Honda NSXs. And that is important, because Honda’s supercar took on and roundly, soundly trounced Maranello at its own game.
The NSX is the supercar you can actually use and actually live with. Beneath the classic Ferrari-esque, mid-engined profile lies the world’s first all-aluminium semi-monoque and Honda’s VTEC-equipped 3L V6, which was good for over 250bhp. These are devastatingly good cars, a quality that doesn’t come with the usual Enzo-esque reliability issues. It is a Honda, after all.
Good NSXs are entering the realm of collector's cars. This one would be a good candidate because it is a factory standard, unmodified early NA model with ultra low mileage of 33,317 miles. It is a 1993 car that was imported by the seller’s family in 1998 and has been in dry storage for around six years as part of his current collection.
This car is an early example equipped with the versatile F-Matic automatic gearbox, which was a precursor of the common DSG-style gearboxes that now power modern supercars. Finished in racing red - just like Aryton’s cars- it is in very good condition inside and out.
There are few supercars ever built that can match a good NSX. Don’t miss this one.

- Lights and glasswork in good order with no reported misting or functional issues
- Factory correct 16in five spoke alloy wheels in good general condition
- The alloys show some light marks to some rims as can be seen in photos
- Mix of Dunlop, Bridgestone and Falken tyres fitted as shown
- Underside appears to be in very good order with no issues advised by seller
- Black leather RHD interior in good condition for age with no modifications
- Leather seats show very light wear typical of age and low mileage
- Black carpets present well in cabin and are protected by fitted NSX branded mats
- Boot carpet in grey is well kept with only a very light stain to note in photos
- Removable ‘targa’ style roof panels appear to be in good order but are untested
- Specification includes original radio and electric seats
- Factory space saver spare wheel in front boot which appears little used or unused
- Car retains its KPH speedometer and odometer as shown
- No reported functional issues with switchgear, electrics or lights
