The Appeal
Introduced in 1984, the C4 Corvette may have lost a little of its predecessor's distinctive coke-bottle styling, but was still recognisable at first glance. Long-nosed, close-to-the-ground, and carrying a big, chunky V8, the C4 still kept up to its predecessor's formula - and was particularly well regarded for its handling, intended in part to compensate for the car's light pulling-back to suit the new American emission standards.
The Chevrolet Corvette C4 40th Anniversary Edition was a particularly fine example of the C4 - arguably one of the most desirable - carrying a distinctive Ruby Red exterior and interior, unique badging and a special interior trim.
This example has covered only 48,987 miles, and looks in fine order. This car has spent most of its life in the UK, and while it's been here it's always been serviced by an Aston Martin mechanic. The car has been kept in a dry garage, and has been gently upgraded over time - leading to a C4 that's even better than factory.
