In the wake of Audi Quattro's dominance throughout the 1980s, it was clear that all-wheel drive and supercharging were the key to success in rallying. Toyota followed this trend with the GT-Four ST165 and ST185, which excelled in competition, particularly under the expert hands of Spanish driver Carlos Sainz.

To homologate this car for rallying, 5,000 road cars were produced, and we are pleased to offer number 3,647 of this highly prized Carlos Sainz edition. This limited series of rally-inspired cars sold out in record time and remains highly sought-after by collectors today, three decades on.

This 1992 Celica covered just 80,095 km and spent a large part of its life protected in a private collection. Offered in exceptional overall condition after being repainted in its original colour, this road-legal, all-wheel-drive sports car awaits its next enthusiast owner.
