The Appeal
With its durable B202 slant four, exquisite Saab engineering, versatile four-seater convertible layout and, of course, the understandable enthusiasm of Saab owners for their cars, it is rare to discover a classic 900 like this one that has covered just 83,000 miles in its 32 years.
That sparing use by its handful of keepers is evident in the condition of this very tidy 140bhp 900S. The smart mid-blue metallic paintwork does benefit from a recent respray, but the original grey leather interior - with its high specification features applied to these later cars - is highly preserved. In short, it is a very good example. It’s an impression enhanced by those desirable Super Aero three spokes.
Alongside the attention to the cosmetics, the history file shows regular servicing and recent work that includes a new radiator, new intercooler and replacement battery.
Stylish, practical, powerful and yet relaxing to drive, this classic 900 looks like the first stage in planning some great 2025 road trips. The MOT runs to October 2025 and underlines the condition.
