The Appeal
The +4 was produced in three separate generations over the course of 70 years. Famous for garnering a class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1962, these middle-sized roadsters have become one of the company's biggest legacy products - after all, the language of classic top-down motoring is universal, and for many, these are the quintessential roadster.
This handsome '92 example is clearly a cherished one. Presented in a rich Midnight Blue, there's a real palatial edge to this fine car, which is accompanied by an impressive paperwork file - including numerous books, manuals and handbooks - and plenty of time on its advisory-free MOT.
All of the weather equipment is present and correct, we understand it's driving well, and for all intents and purposes, it looks like a remarkably classy example of a much-loved sports car - loaded with nostalgic character.

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
