The Appeal
In 1989, Mercedes-Benz released a car that was intended to replace the legendary R107. It was a hard act to follow - but the new SL-Class was more than capable of holding its own. Boasting plenty of innovative options and detailing, with a modern twist on familiar styling, they were a matter of evolution done right.
While this is more than enough to substantiate the car’s model, this particular example is a step beyond. Beautifully finished, with a highly impressive history file, this car is still shining like a freshly polished pin, with its original interior, factory-spec alloys and - of course - that ever-admirable 24-valve engine.
