The Appeal
Introduced in 1984, the W124 platform has become one of the most lauded chapters in Mercedes-Benz’s illustrious history. In true Teutonic fashion, these cars were comfortable, well-equipped and immensely durable, often labelled with such fantastical labels as ‘indestructible’ and ‘bulletproof’ - while we can’t quite promote that line of thinking, we can say they’re a roomy, swift and illustrative example of Mercedes-Benz at their best.
This example has been in its current ownership since 1996, and has spent the past four years kept in dry storage. It’s now ready and waiting to be returned to the road, and would no doubt prove to be a very capable daily driver.
