The Appeal

When the XJS launched, it bucked a lot of expectations. The market expected a replacement for the enormously popular E-Type - perhaps a modernised roadster, sure, but a small, agile sports car all the same. When the big, buttress-laden grand tourer arrived, it raised a lot of eyebrows.

It's just as well Coventry stuck to their guns. The XJS held the public zeitgeist for over twenty years, and continues to be one of those bread-and-butter classics. For decades, these were a highly aspirational, ritzy car for the well-to-do, and now, they're an accessible classic that's still eminently drivable on the modern network.

This fine example has been with its current keeper since 2013, and has recently been subject to plenty of bodywork. We understand it's supplied with a impressive service history, and that the car is ready and waiting to be driven away.
