The Appeal

Named in homage to the gruelling Paris-Dakar's most challenging stage, the Yamaha Ténéré was purpose-built for desert racing. There's a resurgence in popularity for Enduro bikes of this era, with the advent of historic off-road adventure tours like Sand Raiders - an event this 1991 XT600 Z would be ideally suited to. You may well have seen Harry Metcalfe cover the event several years running on his 'Harry's Garage' YouTube channel. This bike could be your passport to take part.

Offered in original, honest condition, this bike has undergone mechanical work with the Motorcycle Centre in Carlisle, ensuring that it runs well and is ready to ride. It's recently passed MOT with just one advisory for a noisy exhaust. While you may wish to improve the bike cosmetically, it's eminently usable as-is; an excellent candidate to use and improve over time.
