- Rare 1.3i injection model
- Original, working air conditioning
- Recently underwent a technical inspection with oil and timing belt replacement
The Appeal
The Volkswagen Golf is a beloved classic - often credited with bringing the hot-hatch to the masses. It's little wonder then that the 2nd generation is still so prized, particularly those with the injection powerplant. As a result, we expect this example will soon have plenty of eyes on it.
This impressive fuel-injection Golf is a very fine example, with lovely glossy paint and an impressive fabric interior, which still looks remarkably comfortable and plush. The car is equipped with a fully functional, original air conditioning system – a feature seldom found in models of this era. Recent maintenance, including a technical inspection, oil change, and timing belt replacement, ensures this Golf II is ready for the road.
