The Appeal
As collectors and enthusiasts alike are fully aware, the Range Rover boasts a near unrivaled balance of both class, performance, and capability. Today, these magnificent beasts are seldom seen in the wild, with well-preserved examples being scarcer still.
This particular example however has been well preserved, thanks to a complete refurbishment by Warwick 4x4. The restoration included a full respray, mechanical overhaul, and upgrades, as well as a stylish new interior. If you’re looking for a well-presented, well-maintained example of the classic sport utility vehicle we all love, this is the one for you.

The History and Paperwork
- 6 former UK owners
- Excellent maintenance record
- Great collection of paperwork and documents
- Extensively restored by Warwick 4x4
As the included paperwork will reflect, this Range Rover spent a great deal of time with Warwick 4x4 in 1996, receiving over £33,000 worth of parts and labour. This consisted of a full bare-metal strip down, fresh respray in Epsom Green (from its original Silver colour), mechanical overhaul, upgrades, and a re-upholstered interior, setting this example aside from the crowd.
Since, the vehicle has covered rather few miles, as supported by previous MOT certificates, receiving plenty of care and maintenance along the way. A large folder of paperwork details previous repairs such as new outer sills and paintwork, along with consumables and servicing. Also included with the vehicle’s paperwork are the Range Rover handbooks, V5C document, and a notebook from the previous owner that carefully details their ownership of the vehicle.

There are very few examples on the market with this much traceable history, let alone vehicles with as much spent on upgrades and custom details.
The Interior
- Re-upholstered interior
- Excellent condition
- MOMO leather steering wheel
- Green leather seats
- Green carpeting
As part of the extensive work carried out by Warwick 4x4, this Range Rover was treated to a new interior, upholstered in “American Eagle Dark Hide Green”, and packed with various goodies such as a MOMO leather wheel. As the vehicle hasn’t covered a tremendous amount of miles since, the interior has aged rather well, showing few signs of wear.
Naturally, the driver’s seat shows the most significant wear, towards the side bolster and various wear marks on the leather. Both the front passenger seat and rear seats, however, reflect far fewer signs of use and look brilliant for their age.
Whilst showing off the same colour as the re-upholstered seats, carpeting throughout the cabin has been well preserved, showing very few signs of age. Following suit, items like the headliner, dashboard, and accompanying controls show few signs of use, although the headliner would benefit from a dash of TLC in areas.
It should be noted that the sunroof does seemingly require a new motor, as the dated original seems to be struggling to open the roof as intended. There are also signs of wear to be found with wooden trim on the door cards, as well as a missing speaker cover to the front right door card, and various surface corrosion visible upon opening the doors.
All in all, the interior of this now 32-year-old Range Rover has been well cared for and presents itself with few areas to fault. As the vehicle shows off custom upholstery from Warwick 4x4, this is quite a tasteful and rare interior to find.
The Exterior
- Great condition for its age
- Previously resprayed exterior
- Colour-coded wheels
- New rear bumper
There are few vehicles that manage to perfectly balance styles as much as the classic Range Rover does. It’s a vehicle that emits classiness from each angle, yet retains tremendous road presence, and would no doubt look at home even on less comfortable terrain.
Finished in Epsom Green metallic paintwork, this particular Range Rover certainly stands out from the crowd. The colour itself is one that perfectly suits the classy British styling of the vehicle, and works brilliantly in coordination with the matching wheels.
The paintwork looks great for its age, although is beginning to show areas of surface bubbling, visible corrosion, a spot of lacquer peel on the roof, along with the expected minor front end marks from use. That being said, the majority of these defects are only noticeable upon rather close inspection and hardly detract from the overall presence of this fantastic machine.
As stated earlier, the 3-spoke wheels have been painted to match the Epsom Green bodywork, and look brilliant for their age. The wheels are wrapped in a set of General Grabber A/T tyres with plenty of tread left to enjoy on, or indeed off the road.
