The Appeal
We're willing to bet you've never seen one before....
MVS (Manufacture de Voitures de Sport) was founded in 1984 by two French engineers who wanted to have their say in the sports coupe market and compete with brands like Ferrari and Aston Martin. One of the founders, Claude Poiraud, had worked for Alpine, which is why aspects of the A110 can be found in MVS's design philosophy. Just like the famous Alpine, the MVS Venturi adopted a relatively small engine, the 2.0-litre Renault Douvrin.
This 1991 Venturi 111 Cup is in very good condition. The sole owner was attracted by the supercar performance and the possibility of enjoying the more favourable Italian taxation for engines under 2.0 litres. It is in excellent condition, having been carefully looked after throughout its life in a dry place and having received a complete repaint ten years ago. We have been assured that it has been scrupulously maintained to this day and is very pleasant to drive.
