The Appeal
Celebrated as the 'Baby Benz,' the W201 was built as an accessible entry into Mercedes' illustrious luxury line. It shared all of the company's celebrated features - solid build quality, handsome trims, and attractive, angular lines that felt sensible and distinguished.
When the car came towards the end of its life, Mercedes-Benz answered with the Sportsline model - with a 2.6L engine, Recaro seats, and a general eye for a pacier drive. Only 700 are known to have been produced - making this perhaps one of the most desirable of the series.
This particular Sportsline example comes to us with that exclusive package proudly on display, with plentiful service history and an MOT valid until April 2025. It's a very solid car, with little signs of encroaching corrosion and a particularly fine livery. We've no doubt it'll attract plenty of attention.
