The Appeal
The 1991 Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe is a sought-after classic for many reasons. It's easily one of Jaguar's most iconic cars and certainly one of the most enduring British classics. These cars are luxurious, pampering and comfortable - the very definition of a laid-back, comfortable cruiser.
Factor in their signature 'High-Efficiency' V12 powerplant, which offered a more limousine-esque ride than ever, and the XJS became all the more spectacular. This particular example is a scarce one—a very early facelift XJS V12 with chrome bumpers before they were phased out in the next model year.
With only 35,278 miles on the clock and a comprehensive service history to prove it, this example comes in a rather smashing 'Best of British' livery - Racing Green with Magnolia Doeskin. It's been dry stored as part of a much-doted-upon collection, in show-condition, and has been fully recommissioned to return to the road.
It's rare we see an XJS of such admirable spec and service, and we've no doubt it'll quickly become the prized possession of the lucky buyer.

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
