The Appeal
The 80s and 90s were the decades of the hot-hatch. Every manufacturer worth their salt was producing small, light and powerful hatches – usually replete with bodykits, wings and sporty interiors. Ford were probably the leaders of the pack in this regard, and the third generation Fiesta saw a number of ‘hot’ models, including the rev-happy, naturally aspirated XR2i.
Here we have a very handsome example, purportedly with one owner from new, now having been comprehensively restored and ready for a new owner to enjoy. The car looks to be in excellent condition, so if you’re looking to relive the grand days of the hot hatch, this could be the perfect way to do it.
