The Appeal
The W201 190 marked the start of Mercedes-Benz drive to transform. It took the firm into a new market - face to face with the BMW 3-Series - and it aimed to win.
Embuing the 190 with the impeccable engineering qualities of the larger cars secured that success. There were also a wide range of engines, of which the M102 fuel injected 115bhp 2litre provided a good mix of everyday performance and economy.
This highly preserved 190E combines that engine with a great colour scheme. It is in very good condition, reflecting the construction quality and caring owners. It would make a great and relaxing daily driver or could be easily fettled for show work. Whichever you choose, with a long MOT it looks ready to go.
