The Appeal
Celebrities and captains of industry, those lovers of stretched out, rear seat travel, know that if you want to travel in style, you travel in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Every version has does exactly that but the W126 was perhaps the last to be from the firm’s high quality, engineering-led era.
Cue this sumptuous W126. It is the 5litre V8 LWB model and it has clearly been looked after. Much of this work has been done by Edward Hall Classic Mercedes, the thick history file covering restoration work as well has regular and routine maintenance.
A long MOT to March 2025 with no advisories attests to the condition. Big luxury saloons that aren’t Rolls-Royces don’t get much bigger or more luxurious than the W126 LWB and for that reason, we seriously envy the buyer.
