The Appeal

The R129 isn't exactly a scarce car, but it's one of the most influential to roll out of the Mercedes-Benz factory, and if you do want a particularly rare groove from it, this is your car. The 300SL-24 offered a 24-valve 3.0-litre straight-six under the bonnet, along with a lesser-spotted 5-speed self-shifter. It was a beguiling combo, and most enthusiasts will tell you it's one to look out for.

This example comes to us in a fine Arctic White livery, highly original and newly imported to Europe.
