The Attractions
Known to be Mercedes-Benz's first compact car, the 190E was distinguished by its elegant design by the famous Bruno Sacco, and introduced the advanced five-link rear suspension that would later be adopted by the E and C models. The 190 also had an illustrious sporting past, and became a DTM legend.
We are told that this 1988 example has had only one owner since new and has always been parked in the garage. Original, well preserved and maintained with care and regularity, it is in truly remarkable condition for its age. An LPG gas system was recently installed, with safety certification valid until 2032, making it extremely economical to run.
