Highlights
- Excellent opportunity for light restoration project or drive as-is
- Owner states all parts present on vehicle
- Complete and very original
- One of only 115 RHD 6.0 litre V12 XJR-s
The Appeal
The Jaguar XJR-s is a special edition of the prestigious XJ-S, and with only 115 RHD 6.0 litre cars made, it is an exceedingly rare vehicle to see on the road, let alone own. The XJR-s is fitted with an upgraded version of Jaguar’s six-litre V12, with a modified air intake and a more open exhaust system, while still keeping the vehicle as quiet as to be expected. Zytek fuel injection, forged steel crankshaft and forged alloy pistons help increase the car’s output to 334hp, while still maintaining the luxurious and smooth-driving nature that comes along with the nameplate.
This particular example is in a state of non-use for its recent known history, having been stored since 2011, but is an excellent fully original example which can be brought back to life with a light restoration project benefitting from many interchangeable parts between it and the XJ-S.

Summary
Looking at this car how it sits, one can’t help but to imagine it in its full glory 30+ years ago. A rare and charismatic beast, this V12 is eager to get back to cruising. With such strong character, this XJR-s is a good candidate for a mild restoration, without any known missing elements or trim except the front lip spoiler. Alternatively, it can be driven and enjoyed as-is with just a bit of refreshing before MOT.
