The Plus

Often regarded as the flagship XJ saloon, the XJR-S was developed in 1988 with the TWR Group. The heritage was already well established - TWR had already entered the XJS in Group A of the Touring Car Championship. Wide tyres were a key element of championship performance, and Jaguar's flagship model could accommodate them without difficulty.

It was an instant success, and thanks to the all-new JaguarSport, the XJR-S arrived on the market in 1988. A special body kit, a unique suspension system and a luxurious, purpose-built interior made this model a remarkable variation on one of Coventry's greatest success stories. A total of 787 coupés and 50 cabriolets were produced for the world market - but only 390 would have been built in this specific configuration, featuring a unique 6.0-litre V12 with Zytek fuel injection and electronic engine management.

This exceptional example, offered with a certificate of authenticity and a complete history file, is in excellent condition. A rare version on the Italian market, preserved in its original configuration.
