The Appeal
It was motorsport that saved the Cossy Sierra. As the competition began to run rings around Ford’s blue collar super saloon, plans to go rallying saw it receive a 4x4 drivetrain. It was a shot in the arm that made this 200bhp rocketship as planted as it was potent.
The all wheel drive Cosworth is a fan favourite. These cars are so good to drive that is a surprise to find one like this, a low mileage, low owner car. The VIN plate verifies that it is a genuine factory car, finished in smart black with matching interior. Aside from a sports exhaust, Wolfrace wheels and a strut brace, it is largely standard.
A thick history file attests to the car of its handful of keepers. It has covered few miles in recent years, but we understand that it is in good running order. The MOT has only recently expired - there were no advisories - so obtaining a new one looks like a mere formality.
