The Appeal
The popular Ford Granada has been in production since the early 1970s, evolving to the MK3 in 1985. The new-look Granada was essentially a Ford Scorpio rebadged for the British market. Ford offered a choice of engines and specifications to suit all owners with varying budgets.
This particular Granada is the Ghia 4x4. Produced for just three years, the Ghia model offered a top-of-the-line trim package, and the all-wheel-drive system was a welcome addition to the model, especially during the winter months when there was a noticeable improvement on the road. This made it a stand-out model within the Ford lineup.
This lovely example presents exceptionally well and has covered just 74,438 miles, retaining its originality. It has been kept in very usable condition over the past six years with regular MOTs, following a short storage period between 2012 and 2018.
