- Restored a few years ago
- Regularly serviced and carefully maintained
- Economical, fun and efficient
The Appeal
Revolutionary, versatile and extremely capable, the 1959 Mini Minor is one of the most important small cars in automotive history.
Its innovative mechanical layout and the wheels positioned at the outer ends of the chassis, combined with its low weight and compact dimensions, gave it outstanding road holding.
With the introduction of the Cooper 1000 in 1966, the Mini proved capable of competing with the best sports cars of its time, triumphing three times at the Monte Carlo Rally and forging a legacy that continues to fascinate enthusiasts today.
This 1990 Mini Mayfair received a thorough overhaul a few years ago. The engine was serviced and the bodywork was carefully restored and repainted in a brilliant cherry red, replicating the iconic Mini Cooper aesthetic, with white stripes on the bonnet, an Union Jack on the roof, racing numbers on the doors, alloy wheels and four auxiliary driving lights.
Economical to run and easy to maintain, this Mini has always been serviced regularly. The seller reports that it has been carefully garaged since its restoration and only used for classic cars' gatherings and that it is in perfect working order and ready to drive.
