Highlights

- Practical classic family load-lugger
The Appeal
It took Mercedes-Benz a while to get behind the idea of a luxury load-lugger, but by the W124, it had gone all in. These beautifully engineered, capacious load luggers could also double as early MPVs thanks to their seven-seat layout.
The M103 3L 185bhp engine is arguably the one to have because it blends durability with fair economy and decent performance. This Arctic White 300TE adds an appealing factory specification, including 16in ‘Gullideckel’ alloys, hardwearing blue fabric seats, cruise control and a sunroof.
It has had just four keepers from new and the mileage is low for the year. The condition is tidy for a 36-year-old car with some minor points to note in photos. This is a usable car that would be perfect for family or workhorse duties, with scope to improve if you wish.
The solid condition and good running order is confirmed by a recent MOT that runs to February 2026.
The vendor writes:
"It's in lovely working order. Starts without issue and runs smoothly. We absolutely adore this car, and the children love the back-facing seats in the rear. It's a wonderful car that our children's nanny had and she's no longer with us so making space for a Pagoda."
