The 80s, Volkswagen's series of vans had become synonymous with life on the road. Fuss-free, easy-to-run vans with comfortable cabins were effectively all the nomadic lifestylist could ask for. While the loaf-shaped campers of the 60s are undeniably an icon, it can't be denied that later models are often far more practical.
This particular T3 has been well maintained and updated, with a replacement engine fitted at 80,000 miles. With fresh carpeting, flooring and numerous pieces of mechanical work, we've no doubt this will become a very capable roaming home-away-from-home, once a little bit of work is completed.
