- New brakes fitted in 2019
The Appeal
The T3 was the third and final generation of Volkswagen’s rear-engined Type 2 vans. This 1988 German import is now equipped with a water-cooled AAZ 1.9 TD engine fitted in 2019.
The vendor acquired the van with the intention of using it regularly but owing to a change in circumstances, it has remained in dry storage since 2020. Some big mechanical jobs have already been completed as the van has a new engine, gearbox and brakes. If you’re after a usable classic or potential project where most of the oily bits have already been completed, this would be a great candidate.
