The Appeal

The Porsche 944 was intended as a more entry-level variation of Stuttgart's finest, but it completely overachieved in typical Porsche fashion. Boasting slightly more predictable handling compared to the 911 - while still offering performance capable of nipping at its heels - it was a solid, solid prospect, and the market responded in kind. With over 163,000 cars produced, the 944 was the most successful sports car in Porsche's history until the introduction of the Boxster. Quite an accolade - and very fitting.

This fine '88 car offers a beautiful Azure blue livery and a Light Beige half-leather cabin. It's a highly original car through and through, with no known modifications. The car has been in storage since 2017 and has only recently been recommissioned for the road. The result is a real time capsule of a car - evocative, exhilarating and capable in one fine package.
