The Appeal
With its ‘triple black’ colour scheme - roof, leather and paintwork - this smart 300SL certainly looks handsome. It is one of the later galvanised cars that are preferred by enthusiasts who enjoy really using their R107s.
It presents in good condition inside and out, at a level suitable for daily driving or perhaps a long road trip or two. It comes to market after a £2,500 refresh that covered servicing and replacement shock absorbers, front discs and pads, water pump, tyres and ball joints.
With the reassurance of a good history file and long, advisory-free MOT to July 2025, this is a very tidy example of one of classic motoring’s best-loved convertibles.
