THE APPEAL
With the reign of Jaguar's E-Type coming to an end, Jaguar needed a new figure, a new car that would display the very manifestation of the brand and in 1975 the XJ-S was revealed. Built to be grand, luxurious and powerful, the XJ-S provided an elegant grand-tourer experience encased in a superbly styled sleek body.
This exceptional example comes with an exceptional history. Starting life on the channel islands, the V12 Convertible has covered a mere 37,166 miles, benefiting from extensive maintenance and care throughout its existence.
Adopted into the largest-ever collection of British Cars, the Dr James Hull collection in 2005 and then by Jaguar in 2014 and recommissioned and used as part of their heritage collection in Germany the car is now owned by an enthusiast who has invested over £7,000 bringing the car up to a distinguished standard.
