Ever wondered why Japan produced so many 400cc sports bikes? Well, to gain a licence to ride anything bigger, you needed to undergo a long, complex and expensive process, and most riders simply didn't bother. When a 400cc DOHC inline-four can scream its way to 130mph at a heady 14,500 rpm, why go through all this hassle to ride a bigger bike?

Determined to offer buyers grand prix sports bike credentials in a small capacity motorcycle, Honda launched the CBR400 in 1983, the first in their now legendary 'CBR' range. This CBR 400 RR has been imported to Spain from Germany and it stands out for its low mileage and recent servicing.
