The Appeal
It is a testament to the brilliance of the design and the enduring appeal of its Dino V8 that in 1988, when this car left the line, it was still the benchmark for European supercars. Later cars like this one got improved aesthetics and the option of ABS and are easily identified by their ‘convex’ alloys.
Classically finished in Rosso Corsa with a Nero leather cabin, this very smart 328 has the desirable ‘QV’ 24V engine delivering 275bhp and has clearly been lavished with investment. There is a vast history file of maintenance including regular servicing and a recent belt change.
The photographs confirm a car in the prime of its life. The paintwork, those smart star alloys and the leather cabin are all in very good order. The car is factory standard, including the Targa GTS roof and the roof spoiler discreetly placed behind it.
A glowing 2020 inspection report confirms what we’ve described above and what you can see in the photos. With its Netherlands registration, this is a great example of a Ferrari icon.

This 328 is a timely reminder of why so many Ferraris are finished in red over black. The Rosso Corsa paintwork perfectly suits the 328’s sculptural lines and here it is in fine shape. This is a car that looks considerably younger than its 37 years. The bodywork is very good, something that is verified by the independent inspection report. The car retains its correct convex five star alloys, redesigned for 1988 to accommodate the optional ABS system.
Inside is a factory-standard, unmodified cabin in well kept black leather. The switchgear, dashboard and dials are all very well kept and the carpets protected by branded overmats.
