The Appeal
Developed to make the most of the 3.0-litre engine capacity cap enforced by the World Sportscar Championship in 1957, the 250 ‘Testa Rossa’ utilised the compact Colombo V12 to great effect, bringing home silverware at Le Mans, Sebring, the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio. With just 33 250 TRs ever made, surviving examples are amongst the most valuable cars on the planet and very seldom does one come to market.
This evocation offers a unique opportunity to experience that golden era of racing with the added benefit of modern technology. With a TVR Tasmin powertrain and bespoke spaceframe chassis, it’s an incredible piece of engineering. The fibreglass body is a precise recreation, and the upgraded suspension and braking systems ensure a driving experience that matches the car's stunning aesthetics.
