The Appeal

The Bentley Mulsanne is a hallmark in the company’s history - a 12-year production cycle meant that, for over a decade, these were the cars of choice for the 80s-era elite. Named after the brand’s exceptional heritage at Le Mans, they were suitably swift movers, thanks to the 6.75L V8 powerplant.

Of these, the Mulsanne S was the most popular. With firmed-up suspension and a slightly sportier feel, they were the Bentley to have for the new generation - an aspirational car with the perfect balance of performance and luxury styling.

This example - perhaps one of the best examples we've ever seen at Car & Classic - was first registered in 1988, and now comes to us in excellent condition, with an impressive service history and an impressive velour interior.

Cream Connelly leather and grey velour seats are excellent with no rips or tears
Excellent full bolsters throughout
The door cards are in very good condition
Beautifully presented carpets and headlining
To the back, the boot is also in very good condition with no faults we can discern

We can’t spot any signs of corrosion or bubbling
Dark oyster paintwork in very good condition throughout

The car is sitting on its original branded alloys, which are in good order
