The once-ubiquitous Renault 4 has rightfully earned its place in history as one of the great ‘people’s cars’, alongside other successful small automobiles. Its design is instantly recognisable, with its hatchback rear door, distinctive front end and absolute simplicity.
This particular car was purchased by the vendor in 2020 with the intention to use it for an African road trip, which never happened. So the car had been prepared for this big trip but never saw much use.
Now presented in good useable condition, this would make a great little daily runaround, or you might be considering your own epic road trip. Renault4GTL_015_2048px.jpg1.15 MB

Prepared for a trip to Africa, which never happened
This looks like a great example of a Renault 4L, which has remained very original. We can see why the vendor originally intended to drive it to Africa: it’s so simple to repair and you’d never have any trouble finding parts.
Presented in good overall condition, this is the kind of car you could use as a daily driver about town, or set off over the horizon.
