Pre-bids

1987 Porsche 928 S4

Highlights

  • Advisory-free MOT until 16th March 2025
  • Excellent service history, fully documented since new
  • Just five registered keepers
  • Superb GT car with an automatic gearbox, air conditioning and sunroof
  • Highly original and in  very good overall condition

The Appeal

The 928 was an entirely new type of car for Porsche, a firm whose bread and butter was air-cooled, rear-engined sports cars. The 928 was to be Porsche’s flagship GT, a front-engined, liquid-cooled, V8 GT brimming with luxury features. You could even option an automatic gearbox.
This highly specified 1987 example would be perfect for crossing continents. As the detailed service record attests to, it’s been very well looked after since day one. The vendor, the fifth registered keeper, acquired it in December 2021 and has since enjoyed driving it during the spring and summer months. As you’ll see in the photographs, this 928 is a very original and well-presented example, in lovely condition for its age.
Complete with a large collection of invoices to accompany the service book and a full list of service intervals, this Porsche is a compelling proposition.
