The Appeal
In the classic car world certain cars endure and the R107 is one of them. With good reason because these are handsome and highly engineered cars that can be used as dailies or saved for shows and weekends.
The late-in-life facelift injected new vitality into the model, in particularly because these cars got the much-vaunted M103 straight six motor that blended the performance of the earlier cars with improved economy and handling.
With many to choose from cars with lower mileage and impeccable service history are particularly sought after. Desirable features like factory rear seats and matching hard top also dial up the desire.
This very smart Diamond Blue 300SL ticks all those boxes. Recently lightly refreshed – including new stainless exhaust back box, under body protection, alloy wheel refurbishment and partial retrim – it is presented in excellent condition. Full service history and a long MOT are more reasons to explore this example further.
