Highlights
- 3.9-litre V8 fitted with an Edelbrock carburettor
- Galvanised rear quarter chassis and new rear suspension
- Runs and drives really well
- Finished in Metallic Black
The Appeal
Land Rovers and V8 engines make excellent bedfellows and there’s something rather fun about ambling along in a tall, bouncy off-roader with a burbling eight cylinder soundtrack. This 1987 Land Rover 90 displays plenty of patina, although it is a mechanically healthy example with a sound chassis and smooth running 3.9-litre engine.
The vendor informs us that it drives really well with ample performance both on and off the beaten track. Early Land Rover 90s (often referred to as Defender) are a practical modern classic and a great thing to have in the garage for when the mood takes you.
