The Appeal
Taking Jaguar’s already fantastic XJ-S to a whole new level, Hess & Eisenhardt were tasked with creating a convertible of this powerful grand tourer. They managed to produce a very well thought out design, which allowed the roof to be stowed flush with the body to maintain the car’s sleek lines.
2100 Hess & Eisenhardt convertibles were produced so this car was rare when new and even rarer now. And it has survived in excellent condition throughout.
The Nimbus White paintwork is very well finished and complements the immaculate beige hood and interior. Lifting the sizeable bonnet reveals the 5.3-litre V12 in all its glory, which has evidently been carefully cleaned in order to look its best.
This specially built V12 XJ-S convertible would make a suave addition to anyone’s garage.
