The Appeal
Produced over four iterations from 1966 to 1993 with its svelte Pininfarina styling, raucous twin-cam engines and of course a folding roof, the 105/115 Series Spider maintained a dedicated following amongst Alfisti the world over. They remain popular classics to this day and the Spider name has lived on through various subsequent iterations through the 916 GTV, 939 Brera and soon to be a new electric roadster recently announced by Alfa’s parent company Stellantis.
Here we have a very fine and well preserved Series III Quadrifoglio, dating from 1987. In US market specification, its 2.0-litre twin-cam engine has fuel injection and reportedly runs very well indeed, benefitting from a recent major service in preparation for its new owner. The car was resprayed four years ago to a very high standard and dry storage has ensured it remains in fantastic condition both topside and underneath.
With a fresh APK, this Alfa Romeo is ready to be enjoyed.
