The Appeal

While a regular 944 produced around 160 bhp, adding a turbocharger in January 1985 quite literally boosted that figure up to a very respectable 220 bhp - turning Porsche's front-engined 944 into one very formidable performance machine

This 1986 example, registered in Poland, presents a compelling opportunity for Porsche enthusiasts. It has been very well-maintained and benefits from a full body repaint completed in 2022. The interior has undergone a great deal of work, with the seats reupholstered in period-correct Porsche fabric.

While the engine will require a service and an assessment of the vacuum hoses, the gearbox and clutch are reported to be in proper working order. In readiness for its next owner, the Porsche has passed its technical inspection without any issues and it's valid until June 2025.
