The Appeal
The Orion was the posh Escort and the Orion Ghia the poshest of them all. It even had rear headrests, the pinnacle of saloon car luxury in the mid 80s.
Survivors like this one are like hen’s teeth. It is very tidy and has covered just 60,637 miles in its 39 years, in the hands of a mere four keepers.
The seller had the car professionally resprayed in correct gold metallic three years ago, along with a full interior valet and wheel refurbishment with new tyres all round. It has been carefully dry stored ever since, covering just 40 miles.
A recent service and long MOT underline the sense of a rare Ford saloon that is ready to enjoy. These mini limousine Ghias were beloved by owners in the 80s - here’s your chance to discover why.
