The Appeal

Creating a replacement for the legendary E9 generation of BMW coupes was never going to be an easy task, yet the nail was very much hit on the head with a new evolution in super coupes known as the E24 6 Series. The E24 found multiple different forms throughout its production run from 1976 to 1989, but the 635csi was the absolute genesis, the flagship of the lineup, sporting power, comfort, and naturally, style.

Now with a thoroughly well received power boost in the form of BMW’s M90 6 cylinder engine the 635csi almost instantly acquired legend status, and is still seen as one of the finest BMW’s of all time coming very highly regarded in enthusiast circles.

This 1987 635CSi is a wonderful example of the revered model, and comes to us in good, aesthetic and mechanical form. Finished in a striking deep metallic colour scheme and with just over 65 thousand miles on the clock, it's clearly been a very well loved car and comes back with a vast and extensive folder of paperwork documenting the car's history.

Fresh from a circa £2000 service, C562 KWL is surely one of the finest CSi’s out there and is ready to go at the hands of a new loving owner.

Summary

Surely one of the finest coupes built to date, the 635CSi is a stylish, well performing, reliable slice of classic BMW, that welcomes a more dynamic B-road drive just as much as a road trip from Lands End to John O Groats.

A lower mileage example in an alluring factory specification with the very desirable five speed manual transmission this 1985 635CSi is surely one for the avid BMW collector or for someone looking to get themselves into a quality classic super coupe.
